Eager to learn more about FIRST competitions?
FIRST competitions were established to allow elementary, senior public and secondary school students to gain hands-on experience in technology. These competitions also teach project management, communication and team building (and are a lot of fun). At each level of competition, teams of participants are given technical tasks, along with a selection of materials and software with which to execute them. After a specified period of time, teams compete in both regional and national tournaments. For more information, or to become involved as a volunteer mentor, visit the FIRST website.
